Vaccine Rebate Program

On January 1, 2009, Physicians’ Alliance of America implemented the PAA Vaccine Rebate Program. With this program, member practices have the opportunity to earn rebates from PAA by purchasing vaccines through our contracts. Members reaching preset net sales figures are eligible for these rebates. These are in addition to, and totally separate from, any manufacturer rebates.

To date PAA has sent our member practices $17 million in rebates!

The Discount Safe Harbor (42 CFR Section 1001.952(h), as amended) requires that certain discounts be reported and/or passed onto Federal and State healthcare programs, such as Medicare and Medicaid. Members shall be solely responsible for determining whether the savings or discounts received from PAA must be reported or passed on to payers and for complying with such obligations. PAA agrees to assist the member by providing information in PAA’s possession that is reasonably necessary for the member to properly calculate and disclose the cost of purchased products, net of all discounts received, upon request.
