PAA member practices can now order Prevnar 20 and receive discounts.
Pfizer announced in June that the FDA approved PREVNAR 20 (Pneumococcal 20-valent Conjugate Vaccine) for the prevention of invasive disease and pneumonia caused by the 20 Streptococcus pneumoniae (pneumococcus) serotypes in the vaccine in adults ages 18 years and older. Prevnar 20 provides a new level of protection from a pneumococcal conjugate vaccine. Building on the efficacy of Prevnar 13 (Pneumococcal 13-valent Conjugate Vaccine [Diphtheria CRM197 Protein)] with 7 additional serotypes, Prevnar 20 delivers the most serotypes from a pneumococcal conjugate vaccine.
Please note that if your practice is already registered to receive the PAA member discount for Prevnar 13 you will automatically begin to receive the discount when ordering Prevnar 20.
